Oh my god. The PB & J earrings. THE PB & J EARRINGS.

Posted this on a story that was not, in fact, Saturday Night Social. Whoops!

Ah, you guys! Most successful Halloween costume ever tonight. I went as Ms. Frizzle from the Magic School Bus. Not only was it super easy (I just half heartedly sewed fabric planets to a dress I already owned and safety pinned an iguana to my shoulder-luckily my hair frizzes on its own...) but everyone loved it.

WHAT. Nope, you win. That's the scariest. I can't even...

You know, I was totally behind it as you described it, though. A group of screaming women wielding lacrosse sticks seems just wild enough to throw a bad guy off his game.

Despite the fact that the end of this story made me snort laugh, the beginning will likely keep me up tonight with the light on.... :l

I came pretty close to peeing my pants when you described his face. Then the ice in my tea shifted during the dead silence while I was alone with this thought. I'm ashamed to say that I screamed.

So this one isn't directly mine, but I played a ghosthunter and tried to investigate once.

Oh my god. This one was creepy until I read your follow up. THAT was terrifying.

Oh, the cookie idea is so cute! And simple. I think the beer idea is perfect- paired with a dessert of his choice, I think that's gold. Thanks for your advice!

Oh, the witch could be fun! I did it last year for my office since it still had to be professional, but it turned out really cute and I wore it out later. You can buy orange striped tights for literally $3 at most of the Halloween stores (I even found mine at the Kroger down the street!) and you won't have to get

I need suggestions! I've been dating this really great guy for past couple of months. We've just become exclusive and "labeled" things and he's sweet and adorable and I'm pretty smitten. His birthday is next week, so I would like to acknowledge it in some way, but since we haven't been dating for too long, I'm not

"You sound like a gold-digger or prostitute."

Yes, I think that was just it. I sort of thought a quick, "Had a good time" text was standard procedure, but it appears that is not the case! This guy's MO seems to be phone calls, which might explain it.

Oh, I recall having that problem from time to time. How do you apply it? I know the box ones come in a bottle, but using the 99 cent dye application brushes at Sally seemed to apply it more evenly and thoroughly than the bottles ever did, which can help a lot at the roots and forehead since that is the toughest part

Yes on both accounts! Thank you for the vote of confidence :)

Hm, ok. There has been no sex yet, just some fun canoodling, hand holding, and a bit of making out. But we both acknowledged that we wanted to take things slow.

I dyed my hair black for years and just used whatever box color happened to be on sale when a touch up was needed. It stuck so well it took me several trips to a salon to get it back out. That being said, if you're having a hard time getting it to stick, more than one hairdresser informed me that the Feria dye stayed

Up top. I joined recently, too. And it hasn't been the nightmare I was afraid it might be. So far...

I am inclined to agree with you. People successfully dated before cell phones, right? I have not texted him, either, mostly because yes, after only four dates, what am I going to say?
