Across a state line. He waited until he saw my out of state tag before he wrote me up. I wasn’t going to take off work and show up in court on Tuesday and we both knew it. He actually asked when the last time I got a ticket and when I told him it was years ago, he said I was due.

Back in the 90s I saw an Oregon State Police vehicle that was an early 70s Dodge pickup. Looked just like any other crappy 20+ year old farm truck until you got close, then you realized it was mechanically perfect.

Craziest unmarked “car” I have seen was in Mississippi, with a black GMC crew cab diesel. Maybe the MS Highway Patrol lets officers choose their ride and then subsidize it?

Always an odd reminder that an active shooter is so common in our (otherwise) developed nation that it’s perfectly reasonable to assume a cop on a random dash cam is heading to one.

Panic firing until empty reinforces their “I feared for my life” narrative.

You know what else might cause someone to panic and escalate the situation...... 3 people sneaking onto their property in the dead of night after someone tried to steal their vehicle that was up-to-date on payments. Sounds like a theft scam and I would come out with a gun too. 

So this is about 10 miles from my house. I need to correct a few things in your statement.
1. dude didnt have a gun when shot by the police. they intially stated this until neighbors released doorbell camera footage that showed otherwise. Chief of police later “corrected” their record.

Cops are the worst tacticians. Remember how they cut down a child in his pajamas trying to see what all the flashing lights were about while every one of them yelled a different order at the same time from more than 100 feet away? Blasted to pieces by sniper fire over a false report. Or the time a police sniper shot…

Oh, it’s entirely on-purpose. California has more registered Republicans than some red states have people, period.

They were there to make sure the second attempt to repo the truck was a success as evidenced by the truck being repo’d as the owner was bleeding to death seeing his truck taken just before he died. They enforced a civil action with gunfire.
