Of course it was, but like many games, it just couldn’t match the hype built around it. Even your Half-Life 2 comparison inflates the hype around Rage.

I don’t know how Reddit’s search algorithm works, so anything I say would be speculation.
Except by that logic, reading Kotaku as one side of GamerGate news is a perfectly valid option.
Alternatively, KotakuInAction isn’t as popular as they’d like to think it is?

So where should people get their GamerGate news? From pro-GamerGate blogs?
I agree.
In other news, Blizzard, EA, Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft are all working on unannounced games. News at 11.
Like what?
I wouldn’t know, I haven’t been able to play it at all today after 5 matches.
Except that still requires (new) players to go out of their way to learn. When people are told “Just jump into multiplayer! You’ll figure it out!”, the thing that comes to mind is not “Lets try a ‘Skrimish’ against ‘bots’.” Its “Multiplayer? That means against other players? Thats SCARY! NO WAY!”
You forgot the part that assumes that people who played WoW have completed all the content/kept up with the lore.
But thats because you’re an old timer, you’ve played RTS games before.
Except in Brood War Raynor outright claims that he will be the one to kill Kerrigan. Its literally, “-I- will be the one to kill you” (right after Kerrigan slaughter’s Raynor’s troops and forces him to retreat) to “Gotta save my girl!” (right after Raynor literally invades a planet full of Zerg to get to her)
NINTENDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMED!
Splatoon Zombie edition?
For the same reason why 4 year olds are on Facebook.
Airspace is not the domain of local law enforcement.
The irony being that China buys that same plastic shit now.
Depends on whether the snake could have (at least partially) digested/broken down the quills.
