From myself? No. What I need is the government’s help to protect me from people who are crazy enough to attack me for no rational reason.

No one said anything about global warming or world drought.
I point out that capitalism is not a perfect machine and thats your response?
“That isn’t the only option anywhere, nor would it ever be, unless humans were dying out and hopelessly trying to extend their miserable existance.”
Because thats how society worked in the past. Why charge taxes when you can shut down the police/military and let everyone defend themselves? Let everyone take personal responsibility for their own protection.
Society and people will also pay $1,000 for a glass of water if thats the only option.
So who made you the arbiter of video game prices? I might think a game is worth two pieces of lint.
By that logic, we should abolish the police/military and let everyone defend themselves. Personal responsibility!
Good things there are already laws barring these types of practices.
Seeing as I didn’t say what that item was, you’re obviously someone who only uses 10% of your brain.
And a lot of people are willing to pay $60 if they’re told its at a 99% discount.
You’re assuming humans are emotionless/purely logical, perfectly informed beings.
Then you wouldn’t mind if everything was on sale for $60?
So if I priced a candy bar at $100.00 and then claimed a “99% off!” sale and I did that for EVERYTHING in a store, would consider that to be legitimate?
I might be recalling incorrectly, but I believe Mass Effect 1 and 2 (never played 3) had exactly that.
If its a really good movie, yeah.
Probably because such stories aren’t unusual.
Yes, but that doesn’t stop some “military” organizations from using it.
Because “glitches” are relative.
Splatoon had a demo (a VERY limited demo no less) and it sold just fine.
