Yes, this and this - as a long time Tesla owner and pioneer if I may say so, I tried the other EV’s finally, well it was a charging hell on the go, but very good at home or work. As you have seen - most chargers are so frustrating and there is no confidence in them working. How about being in rural Kentucky or Georgia

Renewable liquid fuels are not the panacea the Midwest ethanol co-ops would have you believe. They cause innumerable problems, from increased energy use to food shortages - when we grow ethanol corn, we’re sacrificing farmland that should be growing food and we're using lots of fossil fuels to grow, distill and

Road Tripping any non-Tesla is an issue. It is a non-issue if you have a Tesla on their supercharging network. I’ve done over 50k miles of road tripping with Teslas. I gain 2 hours of driving time with just a 10 minute fast charge. In that 2 hours I pass 4 different superchargers that I can stop at anytime to charge

Your comment is the most wrong. If you like simplicity and no clutter, then their interiors are the best. And I find their seats to be great and very comfortable. And the materials are good quality as well... just not flashy.

Functioning government?? 😂😅😅

I guess the folks that were anti-seat belt and pro-indoor smoking were able to spawn a few times before exiting the gene pool.

Unfortunately, they might take us with them (from either COVID, car wreck, or hunting accident).

Study: Morons who are dumb in one situation are also dumb in other situations.

In related news: antivaxxers continue to carry Darwin’s theories to fruition - even when behind the wheel.

The good news here is that this is probably the best-looking one since the 2nd gen, which has aged very well and still looks pretty good IMO

I nominate the Chevrolet Chevette. In 1986 we had a car that had been hit, the rental we were given was a Chevette. What a miserable piece that was. When the repair took longer than the rental allowance covered, the bodyshop loaner was an even worse Chevette.

Not a Pixar film.

Agreed personally. But I would still like PHEVs to become more popular to squeeze out the gas guzzlers still in mass production today. This one surely has great specs for the masses, and a look that I hope more people really appreciate. Prius had never really been a looker until now.

we went full EV too, hands down the best financial decision we’ve ever made on a car.

Its one of the best decisions I’ve made (to not buy another ICE).

I would buy this car if it came in full EV form. I’m not buying any more cars with an internal combustion engine, PHEV or no.

Saturn S-Series

What are we doing?

I think Miata is a pretty good answer here. As an only car, it would mean I might have to rent something bigger on occasion, but getting past the idea that we need to own a vehicle capable of all of our “sometimes” needs would go a long way in decreasing the average vehicle size.
