Oh the branch dropping thing! My family know all about that! We had a quite large gum tree in our backyard that was very close to our house. It was literally splitting in half! Luckily we managed to got rid of it before it broke.

Also, this sounds ridiculous even to me, but a great alternative to christmas music is the Skyrim soundtrack (at least from 4 minutes onwards). Crazy, I know! But I think it has got that christmas sound to it without it being annoying. Just skip the battle music songs, those ARE annoying.

Man!! I HATE that song! I hate all christmas songs, but I hate that one especially. The only christmas song I can handle is the Snow Man, it’s so beautiful! I used to sing in a choir when I was child and it was one of my favourites. My favourite version of this song is the one by Nightwish.
