I enjoyed Spirits Within, too, but I remember saying as I walked out of the theater that it would’ve been a good movie if they’d called it anything other than “Final Fantasy.”

There are tons of lost books, movies, and other forms of art that disappeared solely because it was illegal to make copies and the people responsible for them didn’t care and allowed them to be destroyed. It’s a travesty that we continue the trend, and have added video games to the garbage pile.

Silent Hill isn’t a good movie as far as the script and acting is concerned but hot damn does it nail the atmosphere of Silent Hill PERFECTLY. Also the liberal use of practical effects and some fantastic costume design mixed with some amazing choreography made for a visually great movie.(seriously watch the making of)
