In a Subaru Outback 2007 (EU version). After the car turned 5 years old, the AC went wrong. I managed to fix the wire that kept on disconnecting, but with one condition. I had to hit the area under the glove box every time I turned on the car in order to get the AC to work. Mind you, I lived in Russia.
