The first similar car that comes to mind that had the same completeness to its all-new-ness was when the R35 GT-R came out over a decade ago. That was a monster killer at the time with its crazy low starting price (that didn’t last long) that was already higher than the C8 will be over a decade later!
I think the fact that you could buy 6-7 of them for the price of a GT may be factoring into it.
(this would come in handy when navigating Detroit’s poorly-maintained roads)
What does Mahk say?
I’m holding my enthusiasm until I get the sincere, unpaid opinions of Chevrolet’s Real People.
And the problem with that is? Oh and the corvette was always a sports car not a muscle car
That is a funny looking Miata.
Ironically, many of the styling cues in the Corvette Indy ended up in the 1993 Camaro: The fully glass (with black structural elements) greenhouse, the two curves coming to a point for the front nose, the way the rear wing/spoiler is integrated into the body work, etc.
And just like *that* I went from complete indifference about this Corvette to actually rooting for it and looking at my finances to see if I could afford one on my modest salary. I can’t. Yet.
It’s the only way that they could amp up production.
Wendy’s nevers cuts corners, they should build cars.
Right, because nothing makes me feel at home in my $75,000 track toy like the interior from a compact economy car.
