I don’t know about alternate headlines, but I definitely want to watch a Netflix series where this is the backstory to a race of minotaurs conquering Australia.

I am so weirdly intrigued by this now. 

Maybe I just smoked way too much on my lunch break, but I’m now obsessed with the idea of HBO buying the series, firing everyone but the actors, and then bringing in someone like David Milch, Noah Hawley, or David Lynch to just mindfuck the hell out of the actors and fans.
