I just feel like because this is under the sci-fi umbrella it really has a case of mistaken identity, people who typically like sci-fi invasion stuff (walking dead, falling skies, stargate, helix, etc) are going to find the pace too slow. People who like deep mystery/action (lost, the killing, GOT, etc) are going to…
Thanks for stopping by 3 eps later to share…
One armed dude is an ISEA spy
Im digging this show a lot.
Yeah I thought when the chick was leaving the facility with her Mom all the sirens in the background were racing to that place, meaning the whole city was going into world war z/I am legend mode. They even showed a nurse on a landline phone during the hallway scene, which I thought meant she was calling the police…
Sooooo many sci-fi movies and shows tie mystery lore into the holocaust/nazis over the past few decades I feel like. I mean its a good way to incorporate a real life horror/tragedy into fictional story telling, I guess.
Hey man, no worms means no worms, people or even dishes for that matter.
The part where the show has actually done a good job of building a scenario, is that hypothetically if some angsty hipster chick could take down "the internet" and affect cell phones magically then it puts an interesting spin on how the news wouldn't get out quickly. However…
Both this and groundfloor I have enjoyed watching. While they are not the best shows they are at least entertaining (really wish they both didnt have canned laughter).
Next Time on 24: Kate Morgan is revealed to actually be known as Hannah Mckay in a past life. She recruits Dexter who helps her to break Jack out of a Russian Prison It is then revealed that Hannah Mckay was actually known as Sarah Walker a long time before she was known as Hannah or Kate and that Jack has a brother…
Uhh… no. Ive been using AV Club for many years. This is the first review that Ive truly felt was horseshit though.
Thanks dude, I appreciate you looking out for my reviewing leisure, not sure where I would be without your astute observations of me making the "wrong move".
So perhaps reading my comment on a disqus board known for pissing people like you off is the wrong move? There are plenty of comments online that come from your perspective. If you just want to rag on a different opinion than yours Im sure there are a billion nit picky assholes out there.
So no ones gonna talk about how badass it was to finally see Jon hack some fools to pieces?!
My only point is that I understood what Todd didnt like about the episode after the second paragraph, I feel the review was pretty bland in itself. Im reviewing the review… i guess.
Your review was a bummer dude….. I get trying to convey objective criticism, and yeah it wasn't the most complicated storyline but it seems like 6 out of 9 of your paragraphs of your review just drone on and on, redundantly trying to make the same point in different boring sentences.
How many mountains does it take to get to the center of a dornish pop?
If Arya had watched that duel she would have burst out laughing just the same as the scene at the Vale.
Lysa; You don't fight with honor!
