I kind of get your frustration but I was a huge fan of the old system. I really think that self regulating will be the best. I once had a star [was an approved commenter] and would dig through greys to approve comments and I'm sure other approved commenters will do the same.

I miss gifs so much it's really kind of sad.

If you remember how the old commenting system works it shouldn't be long if you participate regularly on the mainpage.

I'm so excited about this! The grey v pink commenting system and stars were amazing because the good commenters outweigh the bad here.

I don't even post on the mp with how often there are warnings. I'll go in and read an article but completely avoid the comment section.

I feel terrible that in the time I felt bad for myself as a commenter here I didn't even think of the impact on all of you. I can just step away from the mainpage. All of you have to sit there and look for those terrible images in order to dismiss and ban the burner.
