You are right. These comments about Beyoncé not being feminist, "real feminism", and "reverse racism" by some of these supposed feminist white women like mishakitten have set women back years.
She acknowledges that she has an image and wants to control that image. How is that not feminist?
It's just hard to understand the "logic" that she should turn in her feminism card because she might have fake boobs or because her husband said something offensive.
I miss the self moderation too when we could just make a comment like that go away.
And that only white women can have autonomy if their bodies and call themselves feminist.
