@itsonreserve: He probably got a job at Macy's. That would make more scents.

@Agumen: Are you aware that service sector wages are different in Europe? In America service sector wages account for tips.

I'm forwarding this to Future Mr B.

@savethemax: I wasn't respondeing to the point... there...

@savethemax: The author responded and it was in fact a bit of caddiness in her addressing the girlfriend.

@LutherNipperkin: The entire "oh while you were out of town" tone kind of pushes me towards spiteful and caddy vile.

@JJtheskripper: First let me say that it was very insightful and I enjoyed reading this.

@netfe: He needs a neck massage.

@pizza_pizza_tata: Which is why it shouldn't be there. It makes the initial reaction a defensive one. The content of the article is great and it is being overshadowed by that opening.

@savethemax: I don't buy that. The way it is written has this tone of "Guess what your man did when you were out of town? He came to see me. You thought you knew your man but I know him."

I think that addressing the girlfriend immediately put me on the defensive about this article. I had to read it again without the intro to actually appreciate the content.

@bookling: P.S. thanks for not jumping down my throat and actually checking for my joke meter.

@bookling: I don't think that. I do think that this is the conclusion automatically drawn by people who hear about significant others going to strip clubs. It isn't a logical thought out conclusion but it is a triggered response to the idea of a man at a strip club.

@bluebears: I said before but I think it has to do with the misnomer that only unsatisfied men go to strip clubs. Therefore, she isn't fulfilling his needs and she is responsible for him being there.
