Welcome to Swoon-ville: Population me
@langtry: I agree. My goodness you are a somewhat respected journalist and aren't some of you paid per word.
@CKD1: Not saying the mistress thing is the right way for people to live but I could definitely see some of these ladies having difficulty in their public life as a result of this. Some may appear to enjoy this attention but some of the women appear to not want it.
@PhillyLass: That is why not all of them got payouts.
@CKD1: They have their reasons. One of them may be they can't find a steady secure job being "Tiger's former mistress."
@Norton: I agree but I still don't know if I can call it feminist. I do see what you are saying and completely agree that even the term mistress is bit of an insult.
I have no problem with her helping these mistresses. People can say how the mistresses knew he was married and the mistresses had it coming or deserved but the men are the ones in the real wrong.
@somnambulent: YES! I love it. Someone was telling me they just wanted a nerdy guy and I rolled my eyes, put out my hand and said "Look I've dated nerdy and you couldn't handle nerdy."
@quatrevingtquatre: I'm more the one on the right currently. Looks like he just let out a huge sigh of relief and unclenched.
Why is it so hard to believe that Bill and Hillary might have wild crazy passionate sex and that is why they are still together?
@odonata: Yes it makes sense but I would add that sexuality is a problem for petite men also. I think petite men are feminized and larger men are hyper sexualized. I'm basing this on interactions and media representations. The large man is usually the party animal and womanizer. The petite man is the sensitive…
@paperispatient: I know where you are coming from. I am very aware of this with Future Mr Banana's weight gain which moved him from skinny boy with abs to a slight belly. He can't diet because the act of dieting would bring about ridicule. But if he doesn't diet he will continue to be ridiculed about weight gain.
I realize that body issues are very serious for men and can be just as difficult. The problem for me is men are never held to the same standards as women. The pressure to be thin and sexy/beautiful is not as powerful as the media's constant unending depiction of women. I feel that men still get some pause in this…
@RousseMacabre: I would say B then.
I strongly disagree with the order for #13.
@RousseMacabre: Is there ketchup?
@token_liberal: The other post about manic sexy ladies makes me think of all the people calling themselves geeks and nerds.
@IfWhiskeyWereAWoman: I like what you are saying here.
""...they're part of a growing breed of young women who are claiming the nerd label for themselves. In doing so, they're challenging the notion of what a geek should look like, either by intentionally sexing up their tech personas, or by simply finding no disconnect between their geeky pursuits and more traditionally…
@Algren: I thank you for noticing. Only in Jez land would someone notice such things.
