Fuuuuck. The media landscape is so fucking grim.

Person who wants to get famous for being legitimately famous person’s granddaughter says something to try and get their entire 15 minutes of fame.

Pay to not play.

Blizzard will probably mention this guy in their next earnings report.

If you think “game designers” are the ones who wanted these features to exist in these forms, then I’ve got news for you. You can’t be derelict in a duty that you have no power over or levers of impact whatsoever. NetEase / Blizzard from day 1 had the goal of “make cash shop game” and then tasked (compared with the

I’ll start this by saying that anyone is free to feel insulted by whatever they feel insulted by. But I - an Asian-American living in a third world country - really think this criticism is stretching a bit.

Marvel movies are more comparable to roller coaster rides than art films. I’m saying this as an MCU diehard / completionist. I’ve seen everything to date. Including ‘What If’.

It’s frustrating how much money and stuff seems to just come to you once you don’t need it anymore.

Of course he defends it. His company got 24 million in two weeks.

No company would say no to that, even if they’re fleecing people who are easily addicted. The government is the only one who can step in an set a money cap on player payments.

The Blizzard of old is dead and gone, the modern Blizzard is just a gross offshoot of Activision and we would all probably be better off ignoring it.

You just named four indie games. EA isn’t putting out stuff like that either.

Monroe@Steam: This is how the original game looks like when your eyes are full of tears in the rain.’

Some of these comments show exactly what’s wrong with this type of predatory design. People justify spending money on it because the game “earned” it in some way. But as they play more and more, the game will continue to ask for more and more, and eventually they’ve spent more than they would’ve been willing to pay

I’m worried about his choice to do everything solo. As Nextlander (and Kinda Funny and Giant Bomb itself) have proven, the content is better when there are multiple “regulars” who can play off each other. If this new podcast is just Jeff monologuing for hours at a time, I suspect I’ll fall off pretty quick.

Yeah, expected as much since the old crew left, they had to make him stay on the extra year because they don’t want it to seem like it was bad.

Does anyone else feel like was sort of inevitable after Brad, Vinny, and Alex left?

It really has the best soundtrack of the series.

I’ve played them all excluding V, but I think Vice City should rank higher based on soundtrack alone.
