Isn't part of the problem the fact that on Facebook you can "make" a fake name? So isn't it more on Kickstarter to double verify people? Of course Facebook could be a little better to, the damn thing is disorganized all around.

The problem with Google as a company or maybe even it's good side is that everything is fragmented. They have experimenal things everywhere and things aren't consistent. I have a feeling this all might improve though in the coming years.
