This. Flood damage is some of the worst, things may be fine for years but then one day the interior starts to smell a little like mildew and the electronics start to get a little flaky and you suddenly realize you’ve made a HUGE mistake.
This is the sort of terrible mistake I’d make. It reminds me a bit of my first marriage. Thank goodness I’m committed elsewhere.
I’m not saying don’t buy the Bolt. I’m saying if you want that “something new” you should consider the Model 3, and if you want something practical for your wife, two kids and dog, consider the Honda Fit or another fuel-efficient hatchback that goes farther for much, much less money.
