He was casted as an Inhuman who'll be connected with Skye. Speculation abounds that he's going to be in a relationship with her (they actually called him her mentor but idk i guess people will insist on a romantic relationship even if there doesn't have to be one.

At some point in the show I genuinely wanted him to take up Ra's offer and have Nyssa/Arsenal/Laurel take over protecting the city instead

TBH as much chemistry as Olicity has I'm getting tired of this back and forth back and forth between them, especially since it can clearly be easily solved (once Oliver gets his head on straight). It's gotten to the point I'd rather she just get together with Ray since then we can be done with the draggy romancing.

Exactly! I was getting frustrated with Felicity in the past episodes because of her weepiness that clearly achieved nothing, but this wasn't the case at all in this episode.

Maybe she clawed her way out of the grave but was too embarrassed to go face Oliver because she died of like, arrows to the gut but MAGICAL OLIVER survives a stomach to the gut and drop off a cliff!

Ah okay did not know about this since I did not read the comics thanks for clarifying!

From the undertaking I had the impression there were two bombs set to go off and only one did so he minimized the damage? Ultimately you can't deny Oliver saved many lives in both instances and yet everyone magically forgets that in this episode

Honestly my worry is the plotting because even with just two shows (Arrow, Flash) the writers are already having trouble preventing the obvious comparisons between the two shows' respective love triangles (Oliver-Laurel-Tommy and Eddie-Iris-Barry). Not to mention Ray, the third superhero seemed like a combination of

It's probably that Sara fell for someone who was an outsider who made multiple attempts to flee from the League. Ra's clearly does not take that well. Doubt it has anything to do with gender. Although what DOES piss me off is that Oliver was in love with Sara too but apparently he's still "worthy"

Oliver beat her too? Honestly it's hard to believe either way Nyssa was born and bred a member of the League she's been training since she was a kid but noooo she has to get beaten by Roy and Oliver, neither of whom have trained for more than eight years. It's absurd.

There was that guy a few eps back (the one who freed all the villains Arrow Team caught while Oliver was "dead) whom Dig/Roy couldn't take down with arrows or bullets. And then Laurel brought him down with a kick to the nuts. That was gold.

Honestly Merlyn's whole storyline is getting a bit draggy, while I like where it has brought Thea, it's also really dipped Oliver in my opinion I am fucking tired of how many times he's tried to save Merlyn.

SOOOOO we're going to have Oliver decide that having Arsenal/Laurel/Thea come back to life is enough that he would join the League, while he completely forgets about SARA LANCE THE ACTUAL CASUALTY???

Yeah no one thought they would disrespect Nyssa to the extent of having Ra's make Oliver his heir either

What's worse is that the show rarely seems to take issue with him being a dickhead and forcing his opinions on everyone usually they just let it slide

It's even worse when his "angst" is purely manufactured and idiotic. The whole ep was about him questioning his worth and what he's accomplished as the Arrow and any idiot can (and should) have answered. "You saved the city twice otherwise there would BE no city)" I cannot believe no one thought to say that. Clearly

I also cannot believe the no one thought to mention the obvious answer to the qn of Oliver's worth, because clearly it's that he saved the city twice, from the Undertaking and Slade, otherwise the city would've been in ashes already. Makes me wonder how brainless the show thinks we are.

Maybe they brought Shado back so there's a chance of a Slade redemption? I think a lot of viewers are praying he gets less batshit crazy so he can join the Suicide Squad (which, honestly, is more interesting to me than Oliver-Screw Up is at this point.

I think their interaction also benefited from Felicity's clear, straightforward honesty in telling Oliver what he means to her. Oliver Queen waited three seasons to admit he liked Felicity, the guy needs this kind of swift kick in the butt honesty to get his act together regarding their relationship.

Katrina Law doesn't show off her midriff but for me she's still sexier so that kinda says something. Plus we might actually get to see Nyssa in more than her "Halloween getup" now that she's in Starling City.
