yeah I’m thinking they still had stock of the 85 mph speedos in 1985 to use, so why not?

Can someone shop a license plate into that blank space?

I feel like a more progressive transition from grille to grilleless would be beneficial. With the way the front end is shaped, this looks like it should have a grille even though it doesn’t, and that weirds me out to no end.

This looks weird.

I would love to drop it, but unfortunately I live in Quebec and I do drive it in winter. I already suffer with debris on the road and plow the road as it is, an 1” lower will make it unbearable.

Very nice, I really like my 16’s. I would also suggest a set of ebay Vogtland springs. They only seem to be a 1” drop but they really improve the handling and help to get rid of the top heavy feeling you get flying through a corner. They are fairly progressive springs too so they are still very comfortable. You can do

They look incredible for about 20 miles.

Nice car yourself. When those tires wear out, go with 205/45/16s. They are the same width and OD as the 17s, this will correct your speedo and give you much much more purchase options.

Nice car!

“It’s expensive, noisy, completely impractical”

I’ve had a JCW MINI and an Abarth for commuters, they are both wonderful cars to drive everyday. I would suggest the Abarth for the sake of reliability and a much much lower ownership cost.

I’ve only heard one go by and it gave me so much joy just hearing it. I can understand why owners love them.

Or maybe, heavens forbid, they don’t care want internet keyboard jockeys think and drive the car because they love it.

A masterpiece. Absolutely brilliant. They should air this as a trailer for Jalopnik Film Festival.

Well look at that! That’s great — I’m not surprised it was a Mini.

In Imola Yellow? Extremely rare in Avant, 6 Speed trim with Alcantara interior.
