I see your Wolseley Hornet, and I raise you a South African Wolseley 1000 and a MG M Mini Prototype.

Funny thing is both Travellers you posted have the internal tank which takes cargo space. The external tank as seen on the Mini Van was only installed after 1962. You can tell them appart by the location of the gas cap, Internal to the left side, external to the right side.

See the tank covered in the left side.

Let me add to your confusion!

Here’s the Elf/Hornet South African cousin,

The Leykor Mini Mk.3

Great article Jason!

The rears are 10", front ones are probably 15" or 16" that would be my guess.

You’re welcome. Here are more pictures, the car was recently sold in auction, hopefully it will be restored.

In 1964 British Vita Racing decided to stuff a V8 Buick engine in a Mini, and power the front wheels. Likely done as a publicity stunt.

Although I understand their frustration, if the car pollutes so badly, driving it across country sounds contradictory to their beliefs. If they were so concerned with the environment and how much a TDI pollutes, wouldn’t make more sense to have it towed to VW headquarters instead of driving it there?

That’s my website! Thank you very much for giving the credit to it :)

Funny think is since 2007, Chrysler already has the tooling and makes a 2 door LWB version with a diesel engine.... just not available in USA.

I would love to drop it, but unfortunately I live in Quebec and I do drive it in winter. I already suffer with debris on the road and plow the road as it is, an 1” lower will make it unbearable.

Nice black stealt Abarth!

I love mine, and as Clarkson said, it make you happy

I wonder if there are others!

Not the only one!

Yellow Audi S4 Avant, with a 6 speed, sweet sweet V8 with Recaro Seats and 90.000 Miles. Looks fast just standing still.

“This method implies the car is in gear, and they’re just relying on the e-brake to keep the other wheel locked? Maybe they’re using 3rd or 4th, which doesn’t have the torque of 1st to break the ground wheel free? I’m not totally sure, to be honest.”

Someone doesn’t know how e-brakes or differentials work!

Funny enough, owning a Mini Moke is not much different than owing an exotic car.

Same people asking stupid questions:
-Is it road legal?
A/ Why wouldn’t it be.

-Is it safe?
A/ It’s safer than a bike.

-Is is gas powered (as I sit in the pump)...

-How much it costs (I hate that one).

However, most times it’s a riot: People

What about the 300 HP Lada Eva Sport (Group B car prototype) however it was only rwd.
