Never cleaned velour, huh? Also, not sure that center console actually moves in back seat.... bad design.

I’m not quite with those folks, but I do find it extraordinarily annoying that I have to buckle up in my XC90 to back up the driveway. It won’t go in gear unless I buckle up.

But the BMW was actually properly parked...

It is amazing how much the headlights matter. I just checked the XC90 as I was also wondering how it didn’t make a top safety pick and it came down to a “moderate” rating on the headlights. I looked at how IIHS tests headlights and I guess I need to drive a car that gets a “good” rating on the headlights. I’ve been on

That is pretty impressive side impact integrity.

Just call me special - I’m just about positive that I’d screw it up coming from the approach in the center picture you posted. The stop sign is after the curve in the intersection and just about behind a tree on the right, when my main focus is going to be forward and towards the left (if that’s the way I’m going). In

The head of HR will give the CEO a run for her money on being loneliest.

There are no temp plates in Mass (you have to get the plate when you get the car), so would might be pulled over regardless.

Did the exact same thing, but in Italy, and it involved the police, a tow truck driver, and then another tow truck flying down the road to Pisa to exchange cars. I also missed a dinner reservation I made six months previous due to the mistake.

Not that it justifies the punches, but I do hear him say “spic” right before he’s hit.

That’s amazing - it looks like the trees start smoking and spontaneously lite even before you see embers. Thanks for posting.

That’s still 37% renewable, which is obviously much greater than a purely gas driven car. Also, many would argue that natural gas is much, much cleaner than gasoline (especially when it comes to CO2 and contributions to smog). BUT, of course, there are huge risks with natural gas as well: https://www.washingtonpost.com

Based on the name of that car and everything else, I’m now trying to figure out if the one broken pop-up headlight is intentional.

How’s the coffee? Pretty crappy?

Looking at the Boston map, it looks like they just installed ONE station with 8 chargers at the Prudential shopping center - where the parking rates are like $12/hr. I guess it’s a start, but it’s definitely a small one...

I heard “young maam”...

Not an “in danger” story, but a story about how crappy GPS navigation used to be.

Those are some great looking cars. Why cannot we get some of those colors on cars today?

I was always partial to the two-door two-tone ones. Loved the little triangle window.
