I have a mid 2009 Macbook Pro 13" with the 2.53 Core 2 Duo and 4GB ram. My question is, should I purchase the new(er) i7 2.9 13"? I have no interest in the retina display model. I have applecare on my current laptop and it expires in January. I just feel that a new body-style macbook pro should be coming out…

Also, one of my favorite professors from undergrad just bought a 280SL, and I feel its very appropriate.

Well the Corrado, if i remember correctly, was way more expensive, and designed to be a higher-end sports car. The scirocco was just a coupe golf. Its the same thing with the Eos vs. Golf Cabrio in Europe right now. Sold side by side, just slightly different target demographics.

yep. well if we got a scirocco in the US i would be cool with that too.
