They raided and scavenged an old Staples. Lost a lot of good men that day.
To quote the bard: “As the world fell, each of us in our own way was broken. It was hard to know who was more crazy: me, or everyone else.”
I looked up I Am Legend since you mentioned it. It came out in 2007 that’s crazy! Getting too old for this shit.
To be fair, I don’t blame the writers. A decade ago the site was easier to parse and navigate and more fun to engage with even from a mechanical point of view. For variety of reasons that changed. Gotta be difficult working for the bloated corpse of long gone era. I’ve been there personally.
But if nerd sites don’t make it an “us” vs “them” situation, they can’t inculcate the fandom towards toxicity. If nerds stop acting like assholes what would io9 have to “report”?
Came here for this. Thank you for saying what needed to be said.
They were going through a trying time, she should have offered an egg.
Robert E. Howard's Star Trek.
The Power Rangers movie wasn’t great, but it wasn’t totally bad. For me, it foundered with the character/zord designs. They were not colorful, interesting, or dynamic. Lots of grey and overwrought Iron Man ripoff designs.
The podcast “How Did This Get Made?” helped introduce me to these movies. They raved about Fast 5 so much I bought and watched all 7 (at the time) movies and...loved most of them.
I like the idea of it, it’s Mayday Parker Spider-Girl, but the entire DC line.
Mine would be Dave England cooking an omelette. He ate all the ingredients raw, then puked it up, cooked and ate it. Wretched and turns my stomach but Dave still made me laugh.
I hope so. More Catman the better.
Nice to see a person of taste around these parts. Clint doesn’t have to suck and be boring. He needs his real Hawkeye costume back.
Where's the journalistic integrity around these parts? No one is pointing out the cultural appropriation.
Frankenstein should wake up on that operating table in a VA hospital. American soldiers stitched back together and revivified “forced to fulfill a role prescribed to it by society” - expendable cannon fodder.
I think we will see a CGI Shulkie. With Professor Hulk in Endgame, I think that was almost a soft intro for a She-Hulk concept - will people accept and enjoy a fully articulated and animated Hulk, and can the FX pull it off? I think they did.
Uncle Ben
Imhotep takes a guy’s eyes and tongue. The Mummy is metal and awesome. Great movie.
