I interpreted his intent as meaning, while LGBTQ representation in a movie would be appreciated in the US and other Westernized countries, there are plenty of places where being LGBTQ presents one with more problems in life than lack of representation in media. So there may be more important hurdles for those people…

I loved the back half of Luke Cage. It got wild and campy and was a great homage to the 70s comics. Diamondback was so bonkers, I feel like they could go full insanity and introduce Mr. Fish or Cheshire Cat in season 2 and I’d buy it.
