But this guy built his career in saying he was above that. He talks about his feminism in his interviews - it's a part of his brand.

He, allegedly, explicitly said he's too feminist to have affairs because he respects women….when having affairs with them outside of his relationship.

You do understand that "I didn't have an affair" as a lie is different than, "I don't have affairs - I'm just naturally predisposed to having female friends and I respect them so whenever your concerned about that, let me reassure of how feminist I am"?

"Hey honey, you have no reason to worry about all the time I spend around other women. I was raised to respect them, and I prefer female friends, so it's not like I'm fucking them or anything."

No. He had multiple affairs over fifteen years while gaslighting, deceiving, and apparently driving a woman to the point where she is diagnosed with PTSD.

So reducing someone to the point where they been diagnosed with PTSD is just part for the course for relationships?

I can't believe after so many seasons of dreck, I'm enjoying Game of Thrones again.

Allegedly, he used feminism as an excuse as to why he was no cheating on his wife over the course of a fifteen year marriage, twenty year relationship. Rather than confessing monogamy wasn't for him, allowing her to choose whether she wanted that kind of relationship, he intentionally lied to her, using his supposed

Yes, she plainly states she's suffering from PTSD.

But he didn't provide his wife with the information that he wanted to see other people, allowing her to choose whether she wanted to be in an open relationship or not.

It's not about the infidelity, though. It's about lieing and gaslighting her - saying his close relationships with other women aren't affairs but because he's a feminist and prefers the company of female friends…..but in reality, having affairs.

I'm probably a man-hating misandrist double-standard feminazi for saying this, but I appreciate the article, and I'm kind of boggled by people who seem to focus on the cheating itself, rather than the situation surrounding the infidelity.

It's talked about being in "Autumn." In the books, Jon considers buying supplies and provisions during Winter from Dorne and Essos. It's desert, so I don't think that it's as effected

Well, it's more that in, for example, Batman: The Animated Series, Bruce Wayne is a good guy. He isn't solely a brooding recluse wearing a man-mask over the Bat. I always thought that was a nice touch, but you're right in that it doesn't negate the trope.

And depending on your Batman, he's just as altruistic and uses that privilege for good, in addition to his batman side.

I thought it was the reverse, actually.

Just replying again to say I love this comment.

Like, that's Gao's thing. To see the Defenders occasionally punt her drained a lot of her menace and dangerousness. I get that she can't be unstoppable, but the Fingers all felt like disappointments.

Danny's glowering got old and petulant fast. I can't deny I enjoyed watching the other three knock him out.

I dug the backstab, and I enjoyed the two star-crossed ninja lovers beating on each other and then dying together in the carcass of a dragon.
