I work for the USGS, which doesn’t even own federal lands, but I do a lot of field work in the rural areas of my state where there are lots of militia sympathizers. I sometimes don’t feel safe wearing my insignia, even though it’s supposed to serve the opposite purpose. So, I feel ya.
