Avery almost certainly did it, but Dassey’s role was likely minimal, coerced and his trial based on exploitative practices.

I tried to watch that. 15 min in I had to turn it off because Steven Avery is so fucking chilling and disgusting. I didn’t even get as far as the crime. There is no way that man is not guilty of something horrible.

To be clear, literally all they did was take her name off a prize. 

Jesus, yes, thank you. How does no one see this as the regressiveness it really is? It’s mostly a pseudo-intellectual version of “I’m not like other girls.” It does nothing to address or dismantle restrictive gender norms, it just leans into them.

I suppose I’m using the term in the wrong way, then. My husband is borderline and definitely goes through phases where he bounces around in euphoria, especially if he’s trying to avoid processing something emotionally. Like he lost a job and was just trying to outrun it. I call it mania because that’s what it feels…
