This is the bullshit of abusers and racists: to say it’s a ‘joke’ to escape criticism of ugly assed behavior.

I hate that abusers of all types think it’s their intentions and what’s in their heart of heart that matters. People should be judged by their actions!

This incident is awful, but how has he “not had a fair shake in life?” As far as I know, he had a pretty successful and lucrative film career. Messy divorce, but that’s the nature of most divorces unfortunately.

No, it won’t.

you guys should see the movie

I think you’re overestimating Ocean’s 11 (2001). It’s one of my favorites, but there was very little drama. Hell even the scene you mention where Rusty confronts Danny about Tess, you never thought for a second he wouldn’t just go along with it.

Precisely - I saw the first Ocean’s movie (well the remake, not the original with Frank) and yeah - it’s a piece of fluff and fun. It’s supposed to be. And for it’s this reason I don’t see more of them even though this cast looks awesome.

Yeah, all the male reviewers who criticise this film for not being perfect can get fucked. Women are allowed to have fun and indulgent films made for them that aren’t romances.

Yeah, this review makes me want to see it even more. I want to go to the theater and indulge in a fantasy that’s just *easy.* Real life is goddamn complicated and hard enough, my heist movies can be candy.

Now playing

Yep. Here’s the clip. He looks better than most people do in their wedding pictures.

I haven’t seen this movie, I haven’t seen the George Clooney reboots, I haven’t seen the Sinatra originals. But I don’t think any of them are supposed to known for their realism or complexity...so I’m not sure I get the critique here.

Honestly, isn’t this the definition of the genre?

That’s sort of what I thought too...they look good and get the easy win. I mean, that’s honestly really no different from male-led Ocean’s movies. At least the newest ones - I haven’t seen the originals.

I know - why can’t we just have a slick, completely unrealistic heist movie? There’s an ‘expert jeweler’ character. Nothing about this is supposed to be relatable, and that’s fine.

OH NO!? Women actually got along with each other?! This movie is too unrealistic for my taste.

“I remember a story Clint Eastwood told me years ago, after he made “The Eiger Sanction
” (1975). There’s a scene in the movie where Clint’s character dangles in mid-air at the end of a cable hanging from a mountain. He’s thousands of feet up. Clint, who also directed, did the scene himself.

That’s why he did, because Obama didnt.

It’s amazing how quickly everyone forgot how she attacked rhymefest and gave a huge middle finger to the youth of Chicago. No, I don’t have to give Kim credit. She read about this woman like everyone else here, but we just don’t have the ability to call up Ivanka to arrange a meeting with the president. For every good

The point I’m trying to make is that Trump will only grant a pardon to someone who needs one if someone like Kim K asks for it. It’s more to illustrate how absurd that bar is, not meant to minimize the work that advocates and lawyers do every day to work on repairing the system.

You may change your mind about this as you age.
