I have this discussion with my brother who no longer smokes (yay!) but he’s still sucking nicotine into his lungs. Also, since he’s not smoking, he doesn’t understand why I don’t want to be in an enclosed space where he’s spewing poison into the air I’m trying to breath.

Boomer here. Not everyone who 'fled'  to the suburbs wanted to do so. My parents could only get a VA loan if they bought in a white flight suburb instead of in the west side of Chicago neighborhood where they lived.
