So after seeing Washington and Benedict Arnold, I am now bummed that team Lifeboat will not be able to return to this era and help Ichabod Crane meet absolutely everyone in the Revolutionary War.

This is why I enjoy these reviews so much. I thought the episode was quite strong, particularly since I quite like Shinwell, but given that I've only regularly begun watching the show this season, so I'm not in tune with the ebbs and flows of Sherlock's arrogance and lack of empathy, I wasn't able to identify the

Maybe it's because I need to watch the show (or procedurals in general) more regularly, but this is the first time I saw a murder and thought "this is a Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney case".

Decided to watch the show because of Aisha Dee, who plays Jules' bestie Kennedy; I loved her as a regular in Chasing Life, so I hope here role her ends up being robust, although I fear it won't. I ended up liking the rest well enough, though; it's a fun diversion, and I really quite like Jules.

So I'm going to put my money on Frank being #UnderTheSheet. This episodes seems a bit too intent in having us eliminate him as a possibility, which makes me think that he won't shoot his brains out, but will die soon after in another manner, possibly at Bonnie's hand.

My first idea after watching the episode was that it was a fourth wall fake-out, priming us to expect Frank's death before the "twist" of switching to flashbacks and hiding the outcome.

From the review, it sounds as if the series could stand to be more like Nikita season 3: that particular season, I think, did an exceptional job of pitting good guys against impossible situations with no easy and good solutions, and maintained a careful balancing act between showing how constantly dealing with these

Does anyone know if this was meant to be an adaptation of the Superman: The Animated Series episode "Tools of the Trade"—the one where Bruno Manheim and Intergang terrorize the city with increasingly powerful weapons given by the big bad, and is also about how non-superpowered people (Dan Turpin, there) deal with not

It didn't, though? The flash-forwards with Psychologist Rita Wilson were this episode's flashbacks, and the mini-mystery of just why Ginny was being approached by a psychologist operated the same way past flashback-linked plots did. I think the main difference here is that it just worked better (or just plain worked.)

Oh, thank you for the explanation! I'd been wondering. Congratulations to her and the lucky new spouse.

This episode would have probably been an A even without the mini-Veronica Mars ("Mars vs. Mars" Edition) reunion. Casting Scott though, made it all even better—Good Place-worthy, even.

Proofreading note: Paragraph six has the sentence "I’m not saying How To Get Away With Murder more functional relationships.", which is missing something.

Oh, I'm glad this is apparently good! The original film is one of those you see one, remember liking, and never watch again, which is just the sweet spot for me to be pre-interested on the show based on the premise alone, and Peyton List is one of my favorite Hey! It's that guy! gals. And heck, now that Person of

Oh! Thank you for letting me know!

All of this. Between the show talking about the "next time" baddie attempted to alter history (he's already attempted everything he plans to do, from a present perspective!), and Time Base for some reason understanding both timelines, I have a feeling "consistent rules" was way below "Abigail Spencer" on the

Oh yes! I was thinking more "eye of the Technodrome", but yes, it could work there too.

Oh, this is heartbreaking. Between Atwell and especially Dungey, I'd really hoped I'd be able to enjoy this. Instead, it seems to be the third "actors I really like on shows that don't deserve them" show of the season.

I can't believe they had Peter Outerbridge—dead POTUS's chief of staff—and not have him any share any scenes with Maggie Q. Nikita seriously gets no respect. I hope they at least got to spend some time together while filming!

Yay! I'm always glad to see fans of both shows. : )

This column was great, and I love the idea of this as a regular thing.
