Was this the same woman that went on to start the Razing Ruth blog posing as an escaped fundamentalist/Quiverfull daughter? I know she had previous fake online personas faking her own illnesses or those of her children. People are fucked up...

6 more days until VPR! I am so excited I should probably seek counseling.
For room service. Or if I forget a toothbrush/toothpaste and need one.
How do you not watch the OC? I get being hit or miss on the others, but to me the OC, NYC and BH are the Big 3 (probably Big 4 with Atlanta, but I never got into it due to a DVR conflict).
I have also started wiping down hotel room surfaces too (the phone, the remote, door handles, etc.).
Hmmm...interesting. I keep hearing you aren’t supposed to bathe them that much, but everyone I know does bath time every night. Their babies love bath time and really mellows them out. Guess I shall see...
Yeah, I felt like all the other furniture I liked at “baby” stores was almost as expensive and no where near as nice. (I cannot stand drawers that do not glide effortlessly! Or anything that looks “fake.” Or that smells weird. Or that feels wobbly.) I figured I might as well pay the PB price and be fully happy…
I am in the midwest too. Do you have a Buy Buy Baby? They have a lot of neutral stuff. I am a huge online shopper too. Baby Gap has a lot of cute stuff that is neutral-ish and they usually have at least some kind of coupon. (Right now I think it is 40% off with free shipping.) It does suck that it is so hard to…
Oh I have a secret registry at the same store as my public registries for that reason! I also have a secret registry at Pottery Barn kids because that is where we are buying our crib and dresser .... and then I fell in love with some decor stuff there. I used the 20% off friends and family on the crib and dresser…
Halfway through my pregnancy and the Snoogle is my new BFF.
How does it even work? I remember as a kid it was like a blue thing with a bulb. Now parents like, suck on a straw? Why is that better? I don’t get it!!
Ok, I know people say this, but you would have still bought (at least some) of those things when she arrived, right? And then still found out ex post facto that she hated them?
What about something to bathe them in? That seems pretty clutch to me. Otherwise, how do you keep them upright and in one place?
Yeah it’s like you graduate from your car seat to your driver’s license...
We are having a girl. I am still doing mostly grays, whites, yellows, and light blues for our registry stuff. I did cave and do some soft pink things. I found it pretty easy to keep the newborn clothes and supplies relatively gender-neutral.
I am going with the Uppababy vista. Even more ridiculously expensive, but I like that you can add the second seat. I do wish it was slightly more compact like the Cruz though. A ton of people in our ‘hood have the Vista and seem to love it though, so I think it should be ok.
I think would like the book “Go the F*ck To Sleep”.... it’s on my registry lol. I figure it might bring someone a chuckle while they are suffering through the super generous but otherwise tedious task of buying us a shower present.
I am just past 21 weeks and did my registry (99% online) a couple of weeks ago at my mother’s urging (ok, constant harassment). The main thing I researched was a stroller (which we aren’t even registering for and plan to just buy ourselves). The car seat sort of fell into place after that because it is compatible…
You can sue for anything. And defending a suit, even if it will ultimately fail, is expensive. She might be able to get a defamation suit dismissed but maybe not. Even that early resolution of litigation costs money. And if it is not successful, then you are litigating through discovery, summary judgment, possibly…
I could agree with that but I have the same criticism of Nicole Kidman. She is pretty obviously, but to me, not take-or-breath away gorgeous.
