The problem is...it doesn’t really work like that.

Somehow Jezebel can’t just appreciate the fact that Ani’s a better investigator compared to the other two. Instead the issue is the C Word and how the Mayor of Vinci (who we all know is a piece of shit) used it in a way to exemplify why yes, viewers should hate him. But cherry picking a word when clearly Ani can take…
Agreed, although I would say that its worse in the show than in the books. And not super unrealistic for the world and the society that he’s writing.
Sometimes I feel like if you’re white and god forbid attractive, people seem to think you have no right to speak of anything other than your innate privilege and anything else you say doesn’t matter... because Privilege!! Her comment was fine, and her heart is in the right place. Do we really need to ridicule…
Garbage country?
Also, parents keep getting arrested for leaving their kids in a parked car. Now they get mad when a parent lets her kid out of the car. MAKE UP YOUR MINDS, AUTHORITIES.

There is no such thing as chemical free. Everything is a chemical. This is one of my biggest pet peeves about how “natural” companies market themselves and I’m not even that much of a science nerd.
I never got that when I was 6, but when I was around 12, my ass was kicked out of the car to walk home on the ride home from school quite a few times. Obviously, it wasn’t THAT far of a walk and I definitely deserved it. Today, that would be considered child abuse by many and someone would call CPS if they saw a…

Seems that some of these Jez writers who haven’t been here since the beginning like to get a bit mouthy every now and then. It’s very off-putting, but I was an asshole when I was younger, too. I’m not perfect now, but I’m sure as shit not as bad as I used to be.
My mom left my 6 year old brother on the side of the road in the rockie mountains once and told him he should stop complaining because complaining attracts bears. Then drive right off. Because that’s how parents in the 70’s rolled.
Most of Africa and lots of Europe.
My mom would say, “yes, you absolutely can.”
I...don’t see the problem with her comment. It’s perfectly clear, in context, that she’s saying that everyone has a moral right to express their sexuality, not that it’s easy to do so for everyone.
I think there’s stuff implied in that statement that you might be willing to give her if she was older/not a model. Like you’re reading a little too deeply and a little too literally.
She’s only 22. :-)
Cake! All you have to do is say, “I identify as Rachel Dolezal,” and you’re Rachel Dolezal!
I think I want to be rachel dolezal
