I got the last one when I upgraded to Windows 10 and it was a really good time

You’re aggressively coerced into doing so under threat of homelessness and starvation. You sign away your access to it in the same way that you sign away access to your wallet to a mugger. These are not voluntary transactions.

“Imagine if something you invented was stolen from you and then marketed and sold to customers around the world”

This literally describes how companies currently work lmfao.

This is obviously because a Kotaku article mentioned that Nintendo games can be emulated

It’s the gritty origin story for the character in the Buzz Lightyear cartoons that inspired the toy. That seems fairly straightforward.

“but straight up telling people they can buy a device on Amazon that’s pre-loaded with every game is straight theft.”
This is complete nonsense. Pointing out that a product exists that is being legally sold on a very public marketplace is not, by any definition, “straight theft.” It’s not even piracy promoting.

Also,

As Starship Troopers has demonstrated, people don’t always get the message when you depict shitty people using shitty symbols.

The mistake is assuming that the goal in the middle east was to rebuild things.

Why would the rest of the educated world teach an objectively wrong thing?

Hollow Knight is legit what got me to go back and look into other Metroidvanias

I'm weird in that I kind of liked the tenseness and no go areas of Colorado, but I also don't really care about SASO because it can be such a pain in the ass.

I will say that one of Finish Line’s mission stories was insultingly easy. One of the first things you bump into wandering around is a guy in a mechanic uniform who loudly reveals that he’s not expected later, then immediately walks to an isolated area next to a dumpster.

“But Southwest Airlines imposed the mandate without consultation with the union about exemptions or terms.”
This is an entirely reasonable thing for a union to be upset about. The process for the mandate matters: it’ll set a precedent and the workers do not want to be on the losing end of that.

*rolls eyes* yes, I have heard that phrase. It’s not really relevant. You still need to get the start up cash from somewhere.

That risk is inseparable from employment by design in our current system.

That risk is inseparable from emoyment by design in our current soc

One thing that I appreciate about From Software is that their games usually have reasonable file sizes.

I’m not conflating the two. Your weird insistence that the people taking existential risks don’t deserve the value of their labor is indefensible.

Your lack of understanding is not me being incoherent. Workers already bear the risks of a business failing, and losing your job is absolutely a massive risk when it’s your means of not being homeless and starving. Also, the people benefiting frequently did not actually personally risk anything either, why would they

I don’t buy that Democrats are unable to govern. They’re not incompetent, they’re governing for their corporate donors instead of their voters.
