Yeah, I’ve heard dipshits say this multiple times, and they’re never any less wrong. I’ve driven a manual in plenty of traffic jams. It’s really not more difficult than driving an automatic. It sucks in both because traffic jams suck. 

I kind of like that, it kind of sucks only getting to use the cool toys for like one mission.

I used to play basically every game on the hardest difficulty the 2nd time through. Nowadays, I usually don’t play through long, story-based games more than once unless it’s a soulsborne, so I usually play on the equivalent of Halo’s Heroic. 

I’ve been having a ton of fun with it, and I’ve gotten most of my old skills back. I’m still way lazier about timing power weapons and stuff like that because I’m here to have fun rather than be super competitive, but the muscle memory is mostly back.

I’ve been doing the same sometimes, but I also find myself sinking a ton of hours into Halo: MCC. I did finally start a campaign in Total War: Warhammer 2, which has been going well

I’m not a big fan of making Halo more open-world. There are enough Ubisoft games out there already

My favorite Fable was, weirdly, the first one/Lost Chapters. After that, things got increasingly streamlined and simplistic. 

To be fair, the original Viper is actively trying to kill you even if you’re used to that sort of power. 

I sometimes buy physical copies for my PS4 games because the stock hard drive only holds 1TB and that’s not very many modern games

I’ve been mostly comfort food reading during the Pandemic, but I did start Cornwell’s The Saxon Tales/The Last Kingdom, which is nice. It also gives me a new series to watch instead of rewatching Clone Wars for the 5th time

There are like, 5 games max where leaving the motion controls on is a good idea, and that’s including games that are entirely motion controlled.
