But Rebel Wilson isn’t ever going to look like Gal Gadot no matter how much she works out so I’m not sure how that fits into the conversation around over-scrutinizing fit bodies because they’re still considered not good enough? Isn’t that the point that if Rebel Wilson’s trainer got upset over any photo where she

Thigh gaps have way more to do with the angle of your femur to your pelvis and the width of your hips than your weight.

She has a different body type from Gal Godot.

Saying that “oh if you were REALLY working out and eating salad your body would look like this other individual’s body” is contributing to the same shit those teas do and two wrongs don’t make a right. Have sympathy for the people reading that shitty comment who hate their bodies and think that if they just replicate

I see your point...I do feel bad for Khloe for having been raised in that family because it's clear that no one thinks she's good enough.

Yes, and they are relying on Khloe being photoshopped to look like she’s in the shape that they want her to be in. Her actual body doesn’t look good enough. If their client’s actual human body isn’t in good enough shape to represent their work, that’s on them.

The photo I saw yesterday on this site, she looks younger and frankly prettier and more human than all these Instagram filtered, contoured to the nth degree photos.

These CELEBRITY trainers and nutritionists take in hundreds of thousands of dollars to get CELEBRITIES into tip-top condition. Think Rebel Wilson, Jennifer Hudson, Jessica Simpson, Jonah Hill, Henry Cavill, etc.

Exactly. 90% of women have cellulite. It’s the way an XY body stores fat.

I totally agree. It seems like this would have been a great opportunity to be like “Hey, what I look like at the pool with my kids is not what I look like at a fitness photo shoot. That’s normal and fine.” which seems to be something that a lot more celebrities (even fitness people!) are doing.

I’ve got limited sympathy for the unfairness to someone who sells diarrhea tea.

My friend doesn’t think Khloe isn’t fit in that photo. I think you’re confusing “Hollywood fit” and “normal people fit”, which aren’t the same. Thighs that touch are a Hollywood no-no. Having an inch of belly fat is a HUGE no-no. My friend didn’t make that rule- Hollywood and celebrity/fashion-obsessed fans did.

I did read that but my real concern is that your personal trainer friend isn’t aware that thighs touching isn’t a thing that can be exercised away in everyone. I am also concerned that if trainers and nutritionists are going to be this critical of one low quality photo of someone’s body they’re not seeing in person, ho

The thing that always gets me about that pic on the right, is that whoever photoshopped it put her eyes at different heights. It’s unsettling.

Argue with the fitness industry, because the back of my thighs and I would love to agree with you. Cellulite hasn’t been considered acceptable on health and fitness models since at least the early aughts.

The 37 years old thing is the fucking worst. Look, I’m 37, too. Growing up is the worst. But you know what real people do? They grow the fuck up. You’re 37, and you still have shit to prove to people who you have never and will never meet? Seriously, that’s depressing. She must be a very sad person, and if I cared

I’m sorry. Her thighs- one is positioned partially in front of the other. There’s no way to tell how much they do or do not touch and, really- not everyone can get a thigh gap. I’m 5'6", at 21 I was 123lbs, size XS/0-2 and technically underweight and I didn’t have a thigh gap. It is totally 100% bonkers to make this

Which just feeds into the ridiculous diet-and-fitness-industry generated notions of what athletic, fit bodies look like. Top level female athletes still have pockets of subcutaneous fat and cellulite because these are normal biological structures of human bodies.

Right? Butt-lift aside I think she looks good in that photo. Not “Hollywood” good, but as a red-blooded male I think it’s fine. Hell, the unfiltered face looks infinitely better than any of the alien Photoshop photos.

This is unfair to say because Khloe isn’t Gal and working out doesn’t have the same results for everyone- some people have the genetics and frame where they just tend to bulk up as opposed to getting carved out unless they do crazy shit like not drink water for 24 hours. It’s obvious Khloe has had some work done but
