You are 100% correct.  I had assumed that everyone already knew this. I mean, we're talking about Jason Bourne here, right?

Domestic violence is always bad and no system for resolving it is adequate. I didn’t mean to imply that the system is wonderful in Canada, but rather that, based on my own personal experiences living in both countries, it is generally better in Canada than it is in the U.S.

I bought a foam mattress through the company that I worked for at the time almost 15 years ago and it’s still fantastic. We weren’t in the mattress business, but as a distributor for the floorcovering industry, we had access to the foam mattresses through our manufacturers. A few of our dealers had furniture stores, so

You have to look at that statement in its proper context: A) there is MUCH less violent crime overall (per capita) in Canada than in the U.S., so it’s not so much that there’s more domestic violence, as it is that there’s significantly less of every other sort of violent crime; B) domestic violence is taken more

These types of people infuriate me. Those who are more obsessed with maintaining their celebrity expert status than they are about being responsible and dispensing proper information. They’re willing to show up at any time, on any program, to discuss anything. Their made up on the spot “expert” opinions flow freely.

I’m shocked by this. I guess maybe I should Google to confirm that what you’re saying is true. I’m not super familiar with Dr. Crew’s work, but I’ve been under the impression that he’s pretty much known for phone-in relationship advice programs & various “counseling” types of shows. I'm very glad that he was never my

I cannot disagree with your logic.

I think that Oz would win as worst TV doctor because he's the only one who actually went to medical school and he generally presents as being "reasonable & intelligent" despite the fact that he's almost always pedaling irresponsible bullshit.

A lot of people are saying that it's the most beautiful island they've ever seen. It broke all the records like no one's ever done anything like this before.

Okay, but only if we can send Donald Trump (& his most loyal supporters) along with them.

I hear you, but I opted for the best items which were Easter-specific. In everyday life I consume a Reese’s Big Cup daily. The Big Cup is so much better than the smaller “regular” size, but the “Big Cup + Reese’s Pieces” is stupid. Sometimes I’m forced to buy those if the store is out of the regular Big Cups.

BEST:

“Cadbury chocolate in America is actually produced by Hershey’s, and therefore should be roughly the same.” - I’m sorry Megan, but you’re at least 50% wrong on this one. I’ll take your word for it that Hershey’s is producing Cadbury in the U.S., but trust me, they use completely different recipes for each brand’s produ

I love the traditional Reese’s “2D flat egg”, but their newer 3D egg-shaped ones are also excellent.  They use a different peanut butter mix in these than in the everyday cups.

I never thought about it this way before, but you are absolutely correct. Today’s modern “Jews will not replace us” white pride folks are strictly operating from a place of extreme insecurity, which can definitely be traced back to their not feeling loved or supported enough, despite how “special” they deem themselves

I’m so sorry for your loss. The inexplicable death of younger loved ones can be so traumatic. My friend Dave died in his early thirties almost 20 years ago and it still fucks me up. The emotions began welling up just writing that sentence. Take care of yourself.

I take it that you’re in the Northeastern U.S. then. My mother is in Southeastern Pennsylvania (where I’m from originally). She recently moved into a retirement community and she’s not in the best of health. Obviously I don’t want anything bad to happen to her ever, but I really don’t want anything bad to happen to

Hi Pboebe - My family is all doing well so far. Hopefully you & yours are as well. Only one acquaintance of mine (one week younger than me) has died from this (in the U.S.) so far, but I fear that number will increase quite a bit more before this is all over. I’m assuming that you’re in the U.S. at this time of the

It’s actually incredibly self-destructive. If you start with an insecure narcissist and then put him in a gigantic & very lonely castle, he will ultimately need be kept company & reassured of his genius. Now the full-time, good for nothing, hangers on begin to become a regular presence (along with their cocaine).
