While I don't think it's fair to compare Snowfall to the Wire in terms of quality, I would point out that the Wire's first season had similar criticisms lodged against it concerning its glacial pace.

I think that if it gets multiple seasons it should be able to fill out those other threads quite nicely. I'm holding out hope!!
Right on, glad to see this show will get more of a chance to grow. I can see big things happening in the future for this show.
I thought Franklins 4th party also reminded me of Bunks line to Omar in season three when he dressed him down "As rough as that neighborhood was, we had us a community." I have a feeling that party is going to be a point of comparison on down the road.
I'd say that if you can, wait till the season is over, then come back and ask. It's a slow show, but I for one am willing to see where this one goes.
Damn, it's only five episodes in and people are already ragging on the show. The reviewer points out that Snowfall is trying to tell a story that is grand in scope, but then complains that it's moving too slow. The Penny Plunderer got the electric chair!?! Did he murder thirty people to do it? That's some draconian punishment.
Will he be Marco Rubio playing the part of Russels son, Miguel?
Drink deeply the draught of victory, Mr. Greene!
McCain voting against this bill reminds me of Randy Quaids death at the end of Independence Day. "In the words of my generation, UP YOURS!!!!!!!!!"
Also, American Dad had a pretty good spoof too with Tearjerker. Sexpun Tocome, Oscar Gold, the shitty contractor. It's a pretty funny episode.
Breihan giveth, and he taketh away…
He was the best part of that film for me.
You cheeky bastard! Where do you get off sorrynotsorry-into me!!
Oh, definitely! It may be cheesy, but I thoroughly enjoy things like Sean Connery ejecting the passenger in his Aston Martin with a quip!
Especially when he died in the garage with Mr Orange!! I kid, I kid!
Austin Powers ruined the chance for a sillier Bond for a long time.
Well I'll be damned, the lobbying worked! Color me surprised at that.
Hey, all you miss is De Niro getting almost blown up and then voice over of explosions!
Teti!! This was a fine interview, I especially liked what Rhymefest had to say in regards to community and how he views his role in it. Wish that was a more prevalent view.
