I know I'm a fan of both pro and college basketball, and just to have a comment section like this would be Grand to discuss those sports. The problem would be finding another writer like Teti for those, and that is impossible, for he is in a class of his own. All Hail Teti!!

Just….Damn. I was rooting for the Falcons, and the way they lost that game was downright Lionsesque. I don't even want to think about how crushing it would have been to be an honest to God Falcons fan. I think (and hope) that they will be back and get a Super Bowl, because fuck, that was rough. It was like Dennis

That is true that for posterity they should be catalogued, but at this point, Trump lying is getting to water is wet, sun rises in the east level of consistency. A good way to put out a fire is to deny it oxygen, and the attention his bullshit gets him is his oxygen. Ignore that and you go a long way to neutralizing

I'm not advocating that Trump should be ignored altogether. I think the amount of scrutiny and attention his tweets receive should be applied to the legislation being written by Congress, and his executive orders. Ideally, I would like the focus to be a constant, unrelenting thing, because those are the things that

As I recall, one of his wives said he didn't want their child going to a particular school because there were too many Jews there. The fucking levels we've sunk to….

I suppose that would be an improvement on how they currently cover his tweets. For me, it seems there is going to have to come a time when it is commonly accepted that what he says is a lie/deflection/fabrication, and just isn't worthy of being covered or discussed. He's going to continue to say dumb/outrageous things

At this point, I wish people would stop paying attention to what he says or tweets. Fuck what he says, it's all horsehit anyway. Rather, focus on his actions and what he's doing. The rest of it is just smoke and mirror bullshit.

Our only chance is to to go full Ted Williams and get ourselves cryogenically frozen when we die. That way we can be reanimated just in time to watch the Lions find another heartbreakingly baroque way to lose a football game, this time on the biggest of stages.

I too have resigned myself to a lifelong affiliation with the mediocrity and ineptitude that comes with being a Lions fan. There is still a large part of me that thinks the fandom will pay off, but deep down I know as long as the Fords own the team, it isn't happening.

I've caught flack for rooting against Brady because he's a former Michigan quarterback. As a fan of Michigan, I like to see their former athletes succeed in the pros, and Tom Brady becoming the qb with the most Super Bowl wins is most definitely a success. On the other hand, I'm a Lions fan, so I like rooting for the

This is a sentiment I can get behind. Lord knows it's likely the only way the Lions wil get a Super Bowl in my lifetime.

I'm rooting for the Falcons because it would be enjoyable to see a team that has never won a Super Bowl emerge victorious. I feel a twinge of guilt for rooting against Brady and the Patriots, but something tells me that my support will not be missed.

In the first video, Jim Nantz looks like he is barely suppressing an urge to tell Phil Simms to just shut the fuck up with his goddamned rambling.

Where is the final Block & Tackle of the season? I would like Teti's patented whimsical and witty analysis!!!!

I always assumed that based on the news reports at the end of the film that Alonzo's death was covered up and framed as a hero dying in the line of duty. It seemed right in line with the films cynical nature.

I remember when I first saw it I still wanted to believe him even after they killed Roger. Then came the trip to Smileys and it disabused me finally of that notion. Quite the film, I still like to deploy his quote from the end of the movie when I play ping pong "I can't lose, I'm winning any mothefuckin way I can."

I'm not alone in feeling this whole situation of life on earth is going to get a lot worse before it gets better, am I?

I think people should send her a cross so she can hop on it when the mood strikes her, which I imagine will be quite frequently as time goes on.

Wil they have a dangerously erotic scene where he has a smith and Wesson, leading to people undressing….

That album had an all star lineup of some of the best producers of the era. It was an incredible album.
