Not the most original, but it was the only time I was ever sent to the principal’s office:

Thank you for getting that reference

OMFG Scott Joplin. It took me a minute.

We have the opposite problem - a gas range with recessed burners that is a pain to clean. It’s a great oven otherwise but I do tend to leave crumbs collecting for too long.

LOL! Now I can’t unsee it.

After a constant attack of deregulation, our food safety, not to mention every other facet of our economy, is victim to the few wealthy people that own almost everything and then through lobbying, bribe the politicians in our government to not disrupt their cash flow with bothersome things like safety.

I was comparing the chances of passing m4a to eradicating racism in a generation.

Wow, I’m genuinely shocked...I loved her on Battlestar. I hope she didn’t end up to deep with NXVIM.  Was there any news printed about her involvement?

In India, it was found that wearing a mask of a face on the back of your head dramatically reduced the risk of being attacked by a tiger since they vastly prefer to be ambush predators and attack from behind.

I asked Ursa if she wanted to be in my sex cult and she said she wanted to fix the downspout that was pulling away from the house and I said well if I do will you pull on my downspout and she said no and to remember that I have to Petsmart to get dog and catfood.”

Clea... ning? I know not what you speak, friend.

Powdered dishwasher detergent. Either loose or a crumbled pod. I use it to scrub especially burnt on enamel/cast iron pot residue. It can’t scratch because it’s made to dissolve. But it scrubs clean like a champ.

Since you mention magic...Magic Erasers (or the generic equivalent) really are the best thing I’ve found for getting stubborn crud off of kitchen appliances. No chemicals required, just the wet foam pad.

Each person with dementia is different. They all have daily paths and patterns that they go down, and the caretaker has to pick the best approach to handle it - the lesser evil. It sounds like the person in the story has a common path of ‘hey, I want to go for a drive’ and that the caretakers have had a difficult,

Dementia is cruel. Alzheimers is cruel. Something that is a distraction may be better than the fight, especially since it’s cruel not only to the one that has it, but their loved ones, caretakers, and even the random public.

Hey, that’s how I watched Schindler’s List!

For the full experience, while watching it have someone dump cold water on you and hit you with a rake.
