:) It’s been an awfully long time <3

why are there TEETH?!

Guys. I finally got a new job. I’m a federal employee stuck at the same level seven years and have been doing the same thing for a decade. This is a promotion in a new, bigger, bluer city. It’s a much better location than the promotion I applied for last year in my current location, so I am pretty stunned they picked

We really got walloped by the tropical storm here on Tuesday, some people still don’t have power. This is after a lot of clean up, we’ve called a few different tree guys and still haven’t gotten a call back. We never lost power, so that’s a plus.

Tacky. Glorious.

Hi everyone, it’s been a wee while.

After a difficult few months in lockdown I had 3 glorious weeks back at work (school for kids with complex social, emotional and mental health needs) before the summer holidays. Started digging up the football pitch for a veg garden and several of the kids helped and started to

I am surprising myself by saying I think I might actually love it?

Omg I almost peed my pants laughing at “Hell Mouth Monster Face fireplace,” and fireface is genius. Genius! Also, for a second I confused Geena Davis with Sigourney Weaver in my mind. So my first thought seeing this was that a demon looking fireplace was quite the clever choice for the actress who starred in

Right? I’d probably get inside it at some point (unlit of course, I’m no noob), and then shit would get weird and I’d end up having a bad trip.

Ok, thank you for posting this, because this was the one I immediately saw in that link:

I just love how everything else looks so normal and minimalist and the fireplace is all “GAAAAHHH FUCK YOU!!!”

My first work/study job in college in the early 80s was in the computer center printing out and prepping the admin reports. Quadruplicate forms in dot matrix printers, that were fed into industrial-size machines to separate the forms, then another machine to burst the sheets and strip the sprockets off the sides. Jams

Methinks Mr. James P. Bradley got in some fappin’ to the WAP before his moral outrage overcame him.

I want to know how Morn became a rakishly charismatic holovision soap opera star/”Who Wants to Be A Latinumaire?” Host.

You answered your own question with ‘migrants’. Folks coming into Canada aren’t seeking a better life, they’re tourists, they’re here to look at mountains or visit their cottage, possibly bringing the virus with them. The people still looking to immigrate here still can, but they will have to quarantine when they

Yes, such terrible persecution you’re fleeing. Sure, there’s a chance you and your whole family could be killed by a cartel in Mexico, but that’s nothing compared to the hell of having to wear a mask in public. They have no idea how easy they’ve got it in Mexico!

No. It’s 100% on point. The films are often too focused on pew-pew space battles and big-budget VFX...often to the detriment of what makes Star Trek, well, Star Trek — exploration, character relations, the human condition, etc, etc.

Origin stories are always popular! There’s nothing quite as gripping as demystifying something that wasn’t mysterious or interesting to begin with! They should do some Bildungsroman coming-of-age stories to fill the gaps — ALL of them! — in Star Trek history.

Oh but it could print multiple copies in one pass.

So, you are saying that eating food from places like Burger King, Wendy’s, or McDonalds might not be healthy?
