I say this as someone who vaguely enjoyed RPO in the same way you’d “enjoy” a bowl of slightly stale store-brand Lucky Charms when you’re starving and craving sugar but you’re out of milk so you just go “fuck it” and pour water on them: No. It’s not going to be good.

Nope! Part-time step-siblings for a while, both of whom were a fair bit younger than me. But I *did* spend a lot of time with my grandmother when I was little, and that show made regular appearances. (There was also a lot of Fantasy Island and Price Is Right.)

I saw that one! And it’s actually not bad — I mean it’s not exactly gorgeous, but the size etc seems fine. Alas that they’re an absurd $20 each, and I’d need four, so $80 plus tax plus shipping and ... “Not available for shipping.” My nearest Container Store is apparently in Atlanta. Which is a little over 300 miles…

My beloved Breville grinder is on the fritz, and they want an entire hundred dollars to ship it to them for repair or replacement and I’m like .... but I can get a brand new Oxo one for that price? And Oxo doesn’t fucking shaft you on repairs even when shit is out of warranty? Pfft.

I got rid of my box spring too, and do not miss it at all! It’s just yet another thing I had to have a clean-and-in-good-kit cover for, and the covers always want to shift around annoyingly and they’re a pain in the ass to remove and wash. Platform beds are where it’s at!

OOOOO, colored sheers! I LOVE IT. I bet they do neat things as the light changes throughout the day!
