The problem i see is the American truck buyer is irrational and not using it as a work vehicle. I think they like the big hood and have a bigger is better mentality to total length.

I don't think we have this rule in the UK. Some cars have zero parts availability while they're still in production. I've heard that Cadillac BLS owners got warrantee repair parts from unsold cars in the showroom because spares supply was so bad. I wanted to buy one but can't stomach a car that could be written off by

It depends how you define success but I would say Chinese companies are already breaking into the European market. I think Chinese export cars will follow the South Korean model of moving from cheap and nasty to near premium in a very short space of time.

The Preston bypass was the first motorway rather than the first highway. At the time car ownership was low and cars were very slow, on top of this the rail network was vast with even really small settlements having train services.

Sierra V8 conversions (and I'm not looking it up but possibly from the factory in Australia or south Africa) are relatively common. Just saying....

Is it really a trend if it goes back to at least the 1970s? Most C segment hatches have had fast back styling since they were first introduced.

The focus launched in 1998.

Sounds like my old job. Make a big deal about purchasing cutting 10% off a bid when the original bid was already 20% higher than it should be so they've actually done a terrible job.

Speaking as a professional cost engineer I really must point out that you can’t just divide total cost of production by an estimated number of processes to get a per process cost. Well you can but its completely meaningless.

Technically the original is Angela Rippon....

Didn’t Nissan do this on the cube 10 years ago?

I Like how it looks a bit like an unlicensed video game car that's part Audi part Mercedes.

I think it would make sense to move hybrid tech into mainstream models rather than have a separate hybrid range.

Of course Aston expect to double production. They've opened a new factory building a lifestyle sports crossover and it will out sell every previous Aston Martin combined.

I really liked Brawn’s livery. Simple and striking.

Lancaster to Cape Town in a Rolls, preferably a silver spirit. Estate conversion and rough road prepped.

Nissan definitely used Renault engines and the two companies have shared platforms both past and present.

A car of this type sold in Europe would start with less than 120hp. If you go to Italy or Spain most cars you see in the mountains will have less than 100hp. 150 is more than enough.

Doesn’t letting a dog ride in the car for like 30 minutes achieve the same effect?

Why is he driving on the left? Looks like he'd have been clear if he'd been on the left.
