I disagree. Proper diesel engines outlast gas engines because of the cylinder pressures and temperatures involved, they have to. There are also less parts on a diesel (ignition, throttle body) and less sensors. If you've ever hauled anything, you know the mileage isn't anywhere near comparable pulling a trailer, yeah…

America is a 2nd world country quickly decending into a 3rd world country (not as fast as Europe though). Ever been to a third world country? Know what makes them tick? Small diesel trucks (usually Toyotas).

I hope it comes out like this rendering. I can't help but feel the standard corvette is going to be better looking though. The side skirts look functional but add mass to the car and a little bit of a "slot car" body. I also hope the two "winglet" looking things above the splitter are z06 issue only.
