Punishment, amateur pr0n, anti-establishment rhetoric, canadian jokes! I don't really have anything to add, I just wanted to post in the highest viewed Jalop article of all time!
R-ing full set pl0x... wait, what site am I on?
You keep the duck, I'll take the Jawa.
If nibbles were asleep, I'd shoop a blue log with a "nos" logo on it.
Too bad the producers of C.H.I.P.S. aren't around anymore.
You can convert the burner to use waste oil/grease/natural gas/ethanol/newspaper/old tires/farts/etc. so anything flamable on the side of the road is fair game. Also, a 30 year old Elcamino with two giant tanks on it looks a wee bit less then optimized. Finally, you're not burning your food to get to work, to earn…
I'd agree. A vette engine isn't very exotic and any coach built cars that used corvettes in the 70's and 80's are now the butt of jokes instead of treasured classics. If I were ever in a position to buy an exotic coach built car, i'd ask for stuff like... I don't know, overhead cams let alone a race derived engine.…
I like design cues that make a car look smaller then it actually is. This car looks like it borrowed front end bits from the pickup truck bin.
protip: Nothing great has ever been designed by a committee. This car will not be the exception to the rule.
Sci-up!
Really? You're saying you'd prefer a 35k awd performance car to a 20k commuter coupe?
You can church it up with futures and contracts, but fundamental economics takes over when something is traded on the scale of oil. There's so much and the demand is so inelastic, unless everyone in the world suddenly colluded (which the SEC would spot instantly), they wouldn't be able to cause much more then short…
Traders can cause volatility but i don't see how they can alter the price of oil for a blip in time.
Grandpa?
I would daily drive this car.
Give me a set of coilovers and two hours with a hole saw.
I'll still take my chances in the NSX... or better yet, a ford GT.
Same reason the designer uses an apple instead of a PC.
What's faster around the 'ring. An 800 hp mustang or a 300hp NSX?
