He’s a backup who has a unique skill set you need to tailor your offense around. Gabbert and McCown are plug and play qbs and can play in really any pro style system. For a team like the jets who have hackenberg ready to take the reigns you don’t want to sign a qb who requires his own unique offensive system.

I don’t see how adding a 3rd qb to that mix is a good idea at all.
