That runs this show on a shoestring budget. Bellator doesn’t make money dude. Loss leader for spike. Viacom isn’t gonna dump millions into testing when they don’t need to. Zuffa doesn’t even need to, they just do cause of pressure. The government technically licenses and tests all of these fighters

In a perfect world you test both times, pre fight and during competition. Bellator doesn’t have the UFC’s infrastructure for year round testing so they really only test the night of the fight since it’s more important to catch a dude who’s juiced to the gills at the time of competition.

They take more than a day to process and the tests are taken right before the fight.
