This is one of the best games to be released in recent years. While it is fairly difficult, it’s the kind of difficult that keeps me trying rather than quitting. There’s a very fine line between the two too. Sure I still scream at the screen, and have urges to throw things, but I go back for that “one more try”

Yeah, that’s what I thought. I don’t think I could do a SoulsBorne game, so I think I’ll be keeping my distance from this one. Thanks for the info. Much appreciated.

This was one of my top favorite games of last year, along with Oxenfree. The ending of HLD still haunts me, especially in light of its designer’s medical condition. I learned about that halfway through the game, and all of a sudden, so many mysteries within the game’s universe started to make sense. It’s such a

So I love HLD, but I’m honestly wondering if I’m missing out on some secret second half of the game. It was difficult, although not nearly as difficult as the internet made it out to be, as I still managed to coast through it in a short time. Because of all this I’ve found myself wondering if there’s more to the game

HPD is definitely harder. But to me the combat is way more enjoyable much more strategic. So I’d say it balances out. HPD is one of those games where every time you die you know it was your fault and you could’ve done better. Whereas with Zelda which I also love I felt a lot more cheap deaths happened where it didn’t

I don’t know about BotW but HLD is pretty difficult. I rank it above the Dark Souls series in term of difficulty but far below in term of punishment (if you die, you have like 10 second to 1 min of content do re-do). So even if I bash my head on a boss for dozens of tries (Yes I’m not very good, no I don’t give a shit

I am one of two Kotaku staffers who has not played BOTW. Often is HLD compared to Zelda, though, despite its lack of dialogue. I assure you thats its difficulty should not be a turn-off. It’s enchanting in all the ways classic RPGs are. This article just highlights the “action” side of “action RPG.”

Curious. If you’ve played Breath of the Wild, which one would you rank as being the more difficult game. Hyper Light or BOTW? I’ve been meaning to eventually work my way back to Hyper Light Drifter, but the talk about the difficulty has kept me away. But since I’m managing to make my way through Breath of the Wild’s

I find it weird that Americans of all people would object to celebrations in baseball.

You don’t have to hurt a fighter to beat them. And I bristle a bit at the binary that you must either slug it out with GGG or stay in retreat mode entirely. As we just saw, Jacobs mixed boxing, moving, and judicious exchanges to positive results. Also disagree with the position asserted that Golovkin won this without
