Finished Nioh just in time for Horizon Zero Dawn’s release. Bought Zelda for Wii U, setting up the dusty old system is the only thing holding me back now.

Yup, upgrading Magic pays huge dividends in many situations early on. But the most dominant end-game builds I’ve seen use Spirit and Body(atleast 25) and don’t even bother with Sloth, using Spirit Stones to refill the Amrita Gauge.
I’d just say to hang in there and be patient if you like what you’ve played so far. Not everything can be for everyone, but I’ve found Souls/BB to be incredibly rewarding experiences once I found my “groove” or preferred play-style. Nioh was no different, the 2nd or 3rd boss fight I almost quit the game. I’m extremely…
Seriously. I’d be doing great, saving elixirs, following the plan, and then one dodge too many through one of the holes. I actually fell off the ledge mid-attack when the Blob would contract and open the gap between it and the floor. In any Nioh boss, patience is key. But in THIS boss, the smaller blob enemies(with…
I kept falling off the ledge trying to attack that damn Blob. It’s so funny how in those specific moments, I was cursing the game and its creators. But once I beat it there was this calm and appreciation, so weird. In Dark Souls and Bloodborne I never found peace with certain bosses, can’t explain it. The double…
2 things Nioh should’ve taken from Bloodborne :
After almost crying when Gamestop told me every store in the area was sold out, I gathered myself and walked into Walmart next door. They had at least 6 copies there, possibly more. I live in a highly populated urban area fwiw, I’d check Walmart. Gamestop employee told me people were calling and coming into the store…
Whooaa I have so many questions about the dynamic difficulty now.
If From Software is going to make Bloodborne 2, I hope they take some cues from this. As a huge SoulsBorne fan, I was skeptical about this after playing the demo. But after so many strong reviews and comments, details about the game mechanics, I’m happy people are loving this even if it proves too difficult for me. I…
Why are people clamoring for more RE5 & RE6? Those were BAD games. RE7 is a GREAT game. Sad to see that the Japanese market doesn’t agree, but to say Capcom is ignoring it’s fans by NOT continuing in the path of RE6 is dumb. That was a bad game, no matter how many Japanese gamers bought it.
THIS^^^
The Batman Arkham games would’ve been even greater with that system. There is nothing differentiating the grunts that you pummel throughout, a system like this would’ve added some feeling to doling out punishment and chasing down specific bad guys.
You advocate attacking little girls in handcuffs. Real tough guy I bet.
Ah there it is. Aside from the obvious racism, you believe that 14 year old black girls need standards but not adult policemen.
Is an 8 hour campaign alone worth $60? Probably not for me since I do not own PSVR or surround sound speakers, both of which would make this a great purchase at $60. No online or multiplayer on the disc is egregious in it’s own right, but to offer it at a cost 7 days later feels like a slap in the face. I have tried…
Seems like the DLC could have and should have been included in the main game. It “feels” wrong, like I’m paying $60 for only the main campaign. The additional modes could’ve been unlocked upon completion. It’s not like this DLC is coming out 2 or 3 months after release, some of it is dropping after 7 days. It seems…
Oh right I gotcha. If Capcom told me that the unnecessary money grab was going towards funding the RE2 and/or RE3:Nemesis HD remakes similar to RE1 and RE:Zero, then I’d happily give them ALL the money today. Yesterday actually.
The news about the DLC has stopped me from buying this right away. $35 worth of content that is scheduled to release within the first month? Seems like that content could’ve been included with the full game. With no online or multiplayer, is this 8 hour campaign worth $60? With DLC scheduled for January 31st and…
smh friggin United...
