Thank you.
Thank you.
Saw Wonder Woman. Liked it.
I enjoyed Year One by Morrison and Paquette.
I don't know. Ask Soros.
Also, I'm likely going to be out of town when the Sunday WOT is posted, so if someone wants to copy/paste this post (minus the Two town hall parts) that day, I'd be appreciative.
Also, since there won't be a WOT tomorrow, I believe Saturday (10th) is Texas' election day for county/city/local elections. Mayor, City Council, School Board, etc.
Hey, now that the Comey thing has happened, here’s today’s reminder that the Senate GOP is still going to take away people’s health care with the American Health Care Act/Obamacare repeal. And from the sound of it they’re going to pass it at the end of the month. The only reason the Senate GOP is waiting is for the…
Yeah, some of the state governments are doing what they can. I know NY Governor Cuomo is requiring insurance plans for the state to comply with a lot of ACA regulations despite what happens in Congress.
Also: I don't know much (barely anything) about UK Politics, but there's an election today, so go vote if you live there.
I think Continuum definitely had an issue when they were given a final shortened season, but at least they were able to actually finish the story.
Speaking of Nevada, the state legislature passed a Medicaid-For-All bill. Governor Sandoval may end up vetoing it, but at least they got a bill on his desk.
So, from the sound of it, the Senate GOP is just keeping along with their Health Care Bill. They may even just go with a near-similar House version and pass it at the end of the month. They are also doing it the same as the House: Behind closed doors, no debates, and no public input. Probably ram it through so a lot…
Riverdale: The Comic #3
I was going off of this Politico article, posted later than that Vox one. http://www.politico.com/sto…
Update: Gomez won California 34th.
Breakdown:
Of ~241,000 Republican votes cast, Guadagno got ~112,00 (around 46%)
Of ~495,000 Democratic votes cast, Murphy got ~238,000 (around 48%)
Senate GOP has apparently become a lot more optimistic about the Obamacare repeal, and are putting in early plans to have a vote before the end of the month (Congress has a recess for 4th of July). I don't want to turn weekly reminders into daily reminders, but please call them and say you don't support it.
Can't believe that was only a week ago now. Time has become warped beyond recognition.
ELECTION RESULTS
I bought the season 1 DVD release a long time ago, though it's nice to know it's getting a complete series release finally.
